They’re calling it the Philippines├óΓé¼Γäó Biggest Music Event of the Year ├óΓé¼ΓÇ£ the 7107 International Music Festival!
Not only is it going to have some amazing acts, like the Red Hot Chili Peppers and Kendrick Lamar, but it’s for a good cause too. Part of the proceeds of the festival will be used to rebuild, rehabilitate, and fund relief projects for the Typhoon Yolanda victims though HelpPH and the EJ Litton Foundation!
It will be launching February 22-23, 2014.
Here’s what the festival’s executive producer, Tina Herrera, had to say:
“It has been our personal mission to promote the Philippines; the islands, its talent, its culture and its music throughout the world. We are thrilled that 7107 International Music Festival will serve as unique platform for our local artists to shine side by side with legendary performers. Through this International Music Festival, we are able to push our local talent on to the world stage and open up avenues for local artists to collaborate with international acts, further pushing their music to a global audience.
We want 7107 International Music Festival to be a reminder to our countrymen that music moves, and help is on the way.”
The whole thing is being held in Clark, Pampanga, on a buttload of land!
We can’t wait to hear how it turns out!!
