Just when the world gets progressive, things like this happen.
A church in Pike County, Kentucky voted to ban interracial couples.
Stella Harville brought her Zimbabwan fiancé, Ticha Chikuni, to church in June.
Over the next five months, church goers have tried to ban interracial couples.
Is that even legal?
Stella went on to say the following:
It’s just a travesty, especially in Christianity that the church feels this way. They cross the line in revoking my fianc├â┬⌐ and I’s right to worship in a public place
Harville says she wants the church to reverse the decision.
If they do not, the couple, who do not live in Pike County, plan on attending another church.
