Something strange is going on here!
Only hours after the Medical Examiner ruled the death of Dan Kerrigan, ice-skater Nancy‘s father, a homicide, the family’s lawyer has released a not-so-complimentary statement.
“The Kerrigan family is extremely disappointed that the medical examiner would release a cause of death without having all of the relevant facts. We believe this finding to be premature and inaccurate. The Kerrigan family does not blame anyone for the unfortunate death of Dan Kerrigan, who had a pre-existing heart condition.”
Kerrigan’s brother, Mark, has admitted to strangling his father during an altercation immediately prior to his passing. Mark is also reportedly a victim of post-traumatic stress disorder after his time in the Army and has a history of violent outbursts.
We understand that this must be an extremely difficult time, but we’re not entirely sure why such a fuss is being made. It seems as though it’s very clear what happened, whether the death was intentional or not, Mark’s actions caused Dan to pass away.
