On Friday, it was announced that Kerry Washington will become a brand ambassador for the nail brand OPI. FABOOSH!
It’s been revealed that Miz Washington will be designing a line with the company’s cofounder and creative director Suzi Weiss-Fischmann. YAS KWEEN.

In a recent interview, she explained:
“Suzi’s such a fierce female entrepreneur. This is going to be a lot of fun. I’m looking forward to testing out new colors on the red carpet. The fun, for me, is that nail lives in the crossover space between fashion and beauty. I love to play with nail color on the red carpet and explore new shades.”
LOVES it. We can only imagine this collaboration will make Kerry a regular on our best dressed list.
However, we were shocked to learn that she finds inspiration from Gwen Stefani‘s line with the popular brand. Very inneresting!
She continued:
“I’m also a big fan of Gwen Stefani’s line for OPI. She has done such a great job having her collection represent her ├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥ not just with OPI, but through everything she’s done. If I can do something similar, I will be very happy.”
FIERCE! We bet Kerry will absolutely KILL it in her new role as she’s already been the face of Neutrogena for years.
As for what the Scandal star wants as her final product?? She revealed:
“I want to increase access to beauty to women of all ethnicities. Nude looks different depending on your skin tone and that’s the fashion and beauty world I want to live in, where everyone has the ability to express the beauty that reflects them. I love being able to be an influencer in the space.”
Well said! We will definitely be looking forward to seeing what Kerry whips up for the nail business in 2016.
