This isn’t great news, especially when you’re still riding high off of a successful time hosting SNL!
Kerry Washington, who just hosted the popular sketch show on Saturday, has been met with the bad news that her husband, Nnami Asomugha, has been CUT by the San Francisco 49ers!
The 32-year-old cornerback was dropped on Monday by the team, with cornerback Eric Wright taking his spot. Apparently Kerry’s husband only signed a one-year contract with the team after playing for the Philadelphia Eagles, and ended up playing in only three games and recorded three tackles and two passes defensed with the team — not the BEST stats, but not the worst either!
It’s a pretty big setback when you realize that he’s about to have his first child with Kerry, though, we’re positive she can support the both of them until he’s on the field again!
