Kevin Spacey's Legal Team Claims Sexual Assault Accuser Erased Evidence!

Kevin Spacey's team wants his case thrown out!

Kevin Spacey‘s attorneys want the actor’s sexual assault case to be thrown out.
As we reported, journalist and former WCVB-TV news anchor Heather Unruh accused the House of Cards thespian of groping her then-18-year-old son — reportedly, a busboy at Nantucket’s Club Car bar — and plying him with drinks back in July 2016.

On Monday at a Massachusetts courtroom, the disgraced 59-year-old made a surprise appearance as his legal team accused the alleged victim and his mother of erasing text messages and other critical evidence to fit their story.
Spacey’s attorney, Alan Jackson, alleged the boy’s phone — which he claimed featured “frat boy activities” — was wiped clean before it was handed to the police.
Per Deadline, Jackson said:

“They cleansed it… What troubles me your honor… the Commonwealth had all this information… we suspected this manipulation had been going on.”

Previously, in court documents filed on Friday, Jackson wrote that the accuser “has gone to great lengths to remove text messages he believes did not fit his narrative.”
Jackson also requested that prosecutors hand over a “complete and unaltered” copy of the accuser’s cellphone, stating that newly produced evidence confirms he “deleted exculpatory text messages and provided falsified screenshots of his conversation from the night in question to law enforcement.”
As a result, Spacey’s counsel wants the indecent assault and battery case tossed out because of “misconduct” on the part of the prosecution and the accuser’s family,
Though Jackson attempted to get the trial started in the next couple of months, District Court Judge Thomas S. Barrett said that because of the court schedule it would be “maybe October or November” at best.
Referring to Spacey, Jackson said during the meeting:

“Every day that this goes on without resolution, he suffers.”

The alleged victim’s attorney declined to comment ahead of Monday’s hearing.
The next hearing has been set for July 8.
As we wrote in November 2017, Unruh announced at a press conference:

“In July 2016, Kevin Spacey assaulted my son. It happened late at night in the Club Car restaurant… The victim, my son, was a young, starstruck 18-year-old who had no idea this famous actor was an alleged sexual predator or that he was about to become his next victim. Kevin Spacey had no right to sexually assault him… Kevin Spacey bought him drink after drink after drink. And when my son was drunk, Spacey made his move and sexually assaulted him… Kevin Spacey put his hands down my son’s pants and grabbed his genitals. My son panicked, he froze. He was intoxicated… I want to see Kevin Spacey go to jail…  I want to see Kevin Spacey have the hand of justice come down on him.”
