This is such a sad story!
We told you yesterday about NASCAR driver Tony Stewart who hit and killed fellow driver Kevin Ward Jr., while Ward was on-foot on the dirt track Saturday night.
Stewart has a history of being aggressive on the track, and fans of racing all know that. So, Ward’s aunt, Wendi Ward, took to her Facebook to express her STRONG feelings, saying:
“I feel numb, I look into the eyes of family and see a deep hurt that should not be there, my heart has pounded out of my chest for hours, thanks for thinking of our family tony Stewart when you decided to be a dick! My nephew was one of a kind, a true race car driver, a piss head and a sweetie all in one, a young man who will be truly missed by many! Aunt Wendi loves you budster, forever in our hearts”
It definitely is a tragic moment for the family, especially since the authorities have deemed that there’s no reason to charge Stewart with anything.
But, if they feel that this truly was an accident, then that’s what it was!
Our thoughts are continually with Ward’s family as they go through this tough time.
