When it comes to fast food, KFC pretty much has a lock on chicken.
Argue what you want about Popeyes, El Pollo Loco and Chick-fil-A (boo!)… doesn’t matter, KFC is the chicken ├â┬á la king.
Fast food restaurants are always trying to one-up each other with crazier and more ridiculous foods, and we thought KFC won the battle when they released the Double Down, but it didn’t last very long and its availability was limited.
Until now! They’re bring it back!!
The Double Down is a fried chicken patty, topped with sauce, cheese, bacon, sauce and another fried chicken patty!
That’s nuts! There’s no bun, just all chicken!
We guess now that Taco Bell has breakfast, Dominoes has a pizza crust made of chicken, and it’s basically all-out fast food wars, KFC had to bring back their heavy hitter.
The “sandwich” (can you call it a sandwich if there’s no bread?) is coming back officially April 21st!
Are U gonna rush to KFC this monday to grab a Double Down??
