KFC has had some pretty interesting additions to its menu before, but this latest concoction may be its most groundbreaking yet!

The chain store will be testing new edible coffee cups in Britain that will be made from wafer, sugar paper, and heat-resistant white chocolate!
Yummy!
The confectionary cup will be called the Scoff-ee, and will exclusively hold Seattle’s Best Coffee from Starbucks, which KFC is adding to their menu simultaneously.
Spokesperson Jocelyn Bynoe said in a statement:
“We have been experimenting with edible packaging to see if it could be a feasible product to bring to market in limited quantities…If our customers occasionally like to have their cake and eat it, why wouldn’t they want to have their cup and eat it, instead?”
Sounds good to us!
Although there are no plans as of yet to bring the edible cup to the U.S. – we have a feeling that may change if the cup proves to be super popular in the U.K.
We hope it will be! We want a taste of this!
And what a fantastic way of trying to help the environment by getting rid of those styrofoam coffee cups and replacing them with this tasty treat!
