Khloé Kardashian's Mysterious Illness Revealed!

Khloé Kardashian is not in good shape!
While we thought Khloé originally cancelled the second leg of her book tour due to stress, it has been reported that the reality star contracted a staph infection when visiting estranged husband Lamar Odom.

So awful! Now it makes sense why the fitness guru has been so ill!
For those who don’t know, a staph infection is the result of bacteria that billions of people have coming into contact with an open wound or sore. To be clear, MANY people safely carry the bacteria around every day and remain unaffected by it.
A good example of this phenomenon would be toxic shock syndrome. While plenty of women can safely wear tampons, there are also a number of women whose natural bacteria is more prone to the horrible illness.
Here’s what probably went down with KoKo — sources say the blonde had a lesion on one of her legs. While visiting Lam at the hospital, the offending strain of bacteria most likely came in contact with the wound.
A source close to K.K. said of the situation:

“It’s so scary. She’s so sick.”

Aww! We hope Khloé feels better soon! Considering the symptoms of a staph infection include intense fevers, swollen glands, and profuse sweating, the situation is NOT fun!
