Khloé Kardashian always puts daughter True Thompson first.
On a recent episode of Jay Shetty‘s On Purpose podcast, the KUWTK star discusses co-parenting with her ex, Tristan Thompson, after the two broke up amid allegations he hooked up with Jordyn Woods.

Though she admits “it would be easier” to keep their one-year-old from the basketball player, the Revenge Body host respects their relationship.
The Good American designer explained:
“It’s hard, it’s not easy for me… It would be easier for me to keep my daughter away and be like, ‘No, ’cause you hurt me.’ But, he never hurt True, him and I have our own relationship, and then Tristan and True have theirs. And I will never come in-between that, I don’t believe in that.”
In regards to her co-parenting theory, the 35-year-old gives props to her mom Kris Jenner and her late father Robert Kardashian — who ended their marriage in 1991.
“I attest that to my parents, [who] were incredible co-parenters, from what I know… My mom and my dad, I’m sure, fought all the time, not around us.”
The reality TV star also observed how sister Kourtney Kardashian interacted with her ex/baby daddy, Scott Disick.
“As long as it’s not hurting you in any way… if this was hindering Kourtney’s growth or if it hinders my growth, then you also have to put yourself first, because you are in fact taking care of your children… But if it’s not hindering you or hurting you in any way, I think it’s important to work on all relationships.”
As we reported earlier this month, an E! News source said Thompson has been “desperately trying to win Khloé back” for months, divulging:
“He’s doing everything he can to prove himself and won’t take no for an answer. He’s saying nice things to Khloé and flattering her constantly. He knows he made a big mistake and lost the best thing that’s ever happened to him. He’s very persistent and isn’t backing down no matter what Khloé says or does.”
However, Kardashian has “no interest” in getting back with the alleged cheater:
“She finally feels like she is in a good headspace and they are on such great terms that she doesn’t want to shake things up. She doesn’t trust Tristan and doesn’t want to be hurt again. Khloé is fine being single for now and focusing on being a mom to baby True.”
