Khloé Kardashian is opening up about how she navigates tough times.
The reality TV star appeared on a recent episode of SiriusXM’s The Morgan Stewart Show, where she reflected on being her entire family’s “emotional support system,” but admitted she’s hesitant to pick up the phone when she’s going through something herself:
“So I don’t call a lot of people. I [hold it in]. And that’s my problem. That’s what I work on in therapy.”
But if she DID need to call someone, it would be Kim Kardashian:
“I think I would call Kim the most, but also — my personality — I’ll say, ‘Ugh. Kim is studying for the bar. She has four kids. She’s acting,’ … and I will run this list down in my head and be like, ‘I’m not gonna bother her with my trivial s**t that I’m gonna get over in two days.’ So that’s my brain. But I know Kim doesn’t care. She’ll be like, ‘Call me.’”
That’s so sad! Khloé arguably has been through the most out of everyone in her family. From Lamar Odom’s drug abuse and cheating, to Tristan Thompson’s cheating and fathering a secret child, to Lamar now claiming he only ever married her for fame, it’s been a LOT. So to hear that she mostly navigates her trauma alone is heartbreaking!

However, the mom-of-two did note she believes she’s the best “judge of character” amongst her siblings… just maybe not in when it comes to romance:
“If I’m dating [the person] — no. If it’s somebody else, normally, I’m a great judge of character.”
The 41-year-old noted Kendall and Kylie Jenner are also great at gauging characters:
“They have such great heads on their shoulders. Like, they’re really realistic and levelheaded. And they’re really guarded. But I feel like they have to be, because they grew up differently than we did. They didn’t get as much normal time before the cameras came around.”
Throughout all her years in the spotlight, Khloé has learned important lessons — like “not all money is good money.” Reflecting on early endorsements, she said:
“At the time, there was no thought. It was more like, ‘This is so f**king cool. Someone’s asking me to do this. I’m getting paid … What a blessing! You don’t know how long this is gonna last. And then when we got older, I think everything shifted, and we’re like, ‘Okay, not all money is good money.’ Our platform is powerful, and we can’t just be doing things to do things. And we have to think about what we’re doing now, and things need to be authentic.”
However, she ultimately tries to give her past self grace:
“I think with anyone, if you were offered all this stuff, you would take it. And then you grow up and you come to your senses, and you realize, ‘Okay, maybe that doesn’t feel good if I am promoting something that I don’t even believe in — I’ve never used it.’ So that definitely was an evolution.”
