Fans of Keeping Up with the Kardashians have been eagerly waiting for the hit show to dive deep into Khloé Kardashian and Tristan Thompson‘s relationship, before it ultimately ended in a public, messy break up.
The hot topic was promoted heavily ahead of the show’s sixteenth season, so on Sunday, fans were a bit confused by how little they saw of the NBA star on-screen in the latest episode.
ICYMI, the man’s face was blurred out of every single picture frame and any footage that included him!

For those of our readers who haven’t been Keeping Up, Tristan has appeared on the show several times before, so this latest act of censorship quickly raised flags.
Some fans went as far as to accuse True Thompson‘s mama of demanding her ex’s face be blurred in response to their breakup.
Khloé took to Twitter to respond to questions about the blurring, and claimed she didn’t notice while watching the episode.
She wrote:
“Wait? It is!?!?? I did not even notice that. I don’t know. Well, you obviously know who it is LOL so I don’t know what the point of that is. I’ll find out.”
When another fan asked about waivers that are usually signed by talent to appear the show, Khloé confirmed and asserted that might be the reason why the 27-year-old baller’s face was blurred out. She added:
“He might not have signed a waiver to show those images. Why would I want to blur his face? I’m not hiding his identity LOL.”
Hmm. We hear what you’re saying Khloé, but we’re still a bit skeptical that a such a routine detail like signing a waiver to appear on a show you’ve already been on could have been overlooked.
Perhaps True’s dad is still trying to save face, even after all this time? Who knows.
Despite that little detail, the rest of the episode didn’t shy away from looking the former couple’s problems straight in the face.
With the episode backdated to less than a year after baby True was born, viewers saw the reality TV star and her best friend, Malika Haqq, flying out to Cleveland with the tot so they could all spend some time together.
While at dinner, the gal pals get into a deep conversation about the state of Khloé’s relationship with Tristan. The star candidly admitted:
“It’s really hard to regain trust.”
She added:
“I’m someone where the energy I have towards True, that’s all that matters to me, and if that starts to be affected by me wondering, ‘What’s Tristan doing? Where is he?’ I will be out in two f**king seconds. I am in love. I know I love him, but still, I’m not gonna act like nothing’s wrong.”
The Good American creator explained the road to forgiving the father of her child has been especially difficult because the athlete has been repeatedly keeping count of how many months it’s been since the scandal broke, and pressuring her to forgive him.
“He counts — ‘It’s been seven months.’ I’m like, ‘So it’s been seven months. I’m allowed to do things when I want to do it. He needs to know, ‘Your one stupid weekend… look what it did to three years of our relationship. You just demolished that. So was it worth it for you?'”
Through their conversation, we also learn that Tristan actually turned to therapy at one point to save his relationship with KoKo:
“I appreciate the efforts he’s put in. Like he does self-help and therapy… and he knows I’m still trying. I don’t have to come here.”
But Malika urged her friend to continue to “face that uncomfortable music” and address their relationship issues head on. To which, the Revenge Body host replied:
“We’re working through things. But I’ve also dealt with situations where I’ve ignored it. Like, ‘I forgave, so I’m moving on.’ I acted like nothing happened and that did nothing for my partner.”
