Kieran Culkin won more than an Oscar Sunday night!
During the actor’s acceptance speech for Best Supporting Actor for his work in A Real Pain, the 42-year-old told a funny story about a bet he made with his wife Jazz Charton. He started off by thanking the movie’s team, his parents, and even gave a shoutout to fellow nominee and Succession co-star Jeremy Strong before he turned to his wife:
“I love you Jazz — I have to thank my wife, Jazz, for absolutely everything and giving me my favorite people in the world.”
The couple already have two kids — Kinsey, 5, and Wilder, 3 — but he wants more! During his speech, he explained how Jazz told him if he won an Emmy for Succession, they’d have more kids like he wanted to:
“About a year ago, I was on a stage like this [at the Emmys] and I very stupidly, publicly said that I wanted a third kid from [Jazz] because she said that if I won the award that she would give me the kid. Turns out, she said that because she didn’t think I was going to win.”
The Home Alone alum said the fact he told the story “really annoyed” his wife at the time, but after that they doubled down! He revealed:
“But anyway, after the show, we are walking through the parking lot — she is holding the Emmy and we’re trying to find our car — and she goes, ‘Oh god I did say that! I guess I owe you a third kid!’ and I turned to her and I said, ‘Really, I want four’. And she turned to me — and I swear to god this happened, it was just over a year ago — she said, ‘I will give you four when you win an Oscar’.”
Ha! And here he is, an Oscar winner!

The cameras panned to Jazz, who seemed in good spirits as she laughed at her hubby’s remarks. Kieran wrapped up his speech by saying:
“I held my hand out, she shook it and I have not brought it up once until just now. You remember that, honey?”
She nodded and then made the gun to her head hand sign! LOLz! He responded:
“You do? Okay then I just have this to say to you: Jazz, the love of my life, ye of little faith, no pressure. I love you. I’m really sorry I did this again… and let’s get cracking on those kids. What do you say?”
