In 2007, both Kirsten Dunst and her assistant’s purse were stolen out of their suite at NYC’s SoHo Grand Hotel. James Jimenez was convicted of criminal trespassing last year for the crime but the jury could not reach a verdict. He claims he was allowed access to the room because he was accompanying a drug dealer.
So, here we go again! The case is being retried and Kiki’s assistant, Liat Baruch, took the stand on Thursday where she admitted there was marijuana in her purse.
“I had a little bit of marijuana in my bag. No one else smoked pot. I was planning on smoking it alone after we wrapped, after work,” said Baruch.
Defense attorney Robert Parker asked, “You were going to smoke that with Ms. Dunst, right? Ms. Dunst knew you had the marijuana in your bag, correct?” Baruch replied, “No”.
Kiki is taking the stand next week.
