Kim Kardashian once said no one would believe the darkest depths of her experiences with Kanye West, and now we understand what she meant.

For his research, JVM interviewed Keeping Up with the Kardashians executive producer Farnaz Farjam, who told him the disturbing story.

“They were shooting at a remote location in Uganda when Kanye became paranoid and agitated. ‘He basically got the local police to believe that there were people trying to drug him and so they came and they had guns out. He had them raid everybody’s rooms.'”

Things quickly became so “intense” for all who were present, and at one point “one of the policemen had a gun to Kim’s head.”

Whoa.

JVM says Farnaz told him she “ended up having to get a private jet and get my crew out of there.” He writes, “the producer forgave Kanye for the Africa fiasco ‘because he lives with bipolar disorder and he was in a manic place.'”

Ye has long struggled with mental health issues, and his alleged resistance to taking prescribed medication for it in a consistent manner reportedly contributed to the downfall of his marriage to Kim.

That trip to Africa was when “things reached a point of no return.” Kim continued trying her best for a few more years, but ultimately filed for divorce in 2021.
