Kim Kardashian West came under fire on Thursday for an Instagram Story where she used the r-word to describe friends that couldn’t guess her Pam Anderson costume at a Halloween party.
We know, it’s 2018 and her behavior is UGH.

After TONS of backlash online, Kim issued the following apology to TMZ:
“I want to apologize for what I said in a recent video post that is inappropriate and insensitive to the special needs community. I try to learn from my mistakes and this is one of those times. Please know that my intention is always pure, and in this case, it was a mistake. I’m sorry.”
ICYMI earlier, here’s the video a fan account captured. It has since been deleted from Kim’s page:
We’d say she learned her lesson, but her sister Khloe Kardashian was under fire for the same word usage a few months ago. So it seems like it’s just a casual thing said around the Kardashian house. Sad.
