Skechers Shape-Ups Won't Get You In Shape

Those Skechers Shape-Ups that Kim Kardashian used to endorse is now at the center of a lawsuit between the shoe company and the Federal Trade Commission.
Just like Reebok, the FTC has ruled the shoe company’s so-called clinical studies that “proved” their sneakers helped people lose weight and strengthen their butt, leg, and stomach muscles were a bunch of hooey and now they’ve gotta pay up!
Skechers has agreed to shell out $40 million in settlement costs and anyone who purchased Shape-Ups are eligible for a refund.
However, Skechers is determined to prove their sneakers are legit and are already planning to conduct more research.
