Kim Kardashian clearly knows the internet never forgets… so why not laugh right along with it?
The reality TV superstar, business mogul, and marketing machine just unveiled a new campaign for the energy drink brand Update, and instead of dodging some of the biggest talking points surrounding her life, she’s leaning all the way in!

The energy drink ad opens with Kim sitting at what looks like a press conference as reporters fire questions at her about how she’s somehow able to juggle countless businesses, TV projects, parenting, and everything else on her endless schedule. Her explanation is short, sweet, and exactly what you’d expect from someone launching an energy drink:
“My energy is just different.”
True!
From there, the commercial gets even more over-the-top.
After answering the internet’s favorite questions about herself — including one about whether her famous assets are real — the campaign shifts into museum mode. Kim is displayed inside a giant glass case while powering through an enormous mountain of work as spectators stop to admire the exhibit. It’s definitely a playful way of poking fun at the public’s fascination with her nonstop hustle.

But the biggest laugh comes when famed women’s rights attorney Gloria Allred makes a surprise appearance!
Allred walks right up to Kim and asks the question plenty of critics have wondered over the years:
“Did she even pass the bar?”
Kim doesn’t hesitate to deliver the campaign’s most memorable line:
“I didn’t pass the bar. I raised it.”
Ha!!!
It’s hard not to appreciate someone who’s willing to make themselves the punchline, ya know?!
Rather than pretending the setback never happened, Kim is using it as part of the joke while promoting a brand that’s literally all about having more energy. Savvy marketing!

Per TMZ, the campaign was developed by branded content studio OBB Bolded, and it definitely feels designed to get people talking on social media.
After all, considering Kim’s long history with the bar exam and her quest to become a lawyer… hey, why not own it without shame?! Reactions, y’all?? Will you be trying this new energy drink or sticking with the always reliable Red Bull?
