Following a harrowing few weeks, including an arrest and an involuntary psychiatric hold, Kim Richards is FINALLY getting the help she needs.
Phew, we’re so relieved!
According to an insider, after the Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star’s release from the psychiatric hold, Kim voluntarily checked into a treatment facility three days later.
Considering Richards’ family has been begging the reality star to seek help ever since she caused a major scene at her daughter’s wedding this past spring, we’re not surprised she finally caved.

The source revealed of the intense situation, saying:
“She voluntarily checked into an inpatient facility in Orange County. The family has been very supportive of this move.”
What great news! This has been a LONG time coming.
While we’re not sure what the mother of four is seeking treatment for, she has struggled with substance abuse in the past.
Plus, it’s also possible that the former child actress is receiving mental health services, especially since she was not lucid when cops arrested her for stealing $600 worth of toys from Target a few weeks ago.
We just wonder how this development will affect Richards’ theft case since she recently pleaded not guilty to the charges.
If the 50-year-old were to plead guilty, she’ll serve no jail time.
