After Kobe Bryant officially announced his retirement from the NBA on Sunday, plenty of fans took to Twitter to express their grief.
In an open letter titled Dear Basketball, the 37-year-old revealed that his current season on the Lakers would be his last!

While this announcement came as a shock to many fans — and even coach Byron Scott — Bryant received an outpouring of congratulations from famous friends and fans all over social media!
Fans like Justin Timberlake deemed Bryant “one of the true kings of the game,” while others like George Lopez and Arsenio Hall made plans to see the MVP in action while they still could!
