Kobe Bryant‘s older sister is paying tribute to the life and memory of her late brother and niece Gianna Bryant exactly one month after the father-daughter duo tragically passed away in the tragic helicopter crash.
On Wednesday, Sharia Washington took to Instagram and shared a shot of her brand new tattoo which features a black snake wrapped like an infinity symbol around the numbers 2 and 24.

The ink was done by artist Peter Barrios and appears to be placed on Sharia’s left shoulder blade.
Of course, our readers are likely aware the digits represent Gianna and Kobe’s respective jersey numbers and the snake is a direct reference to Bryant’s famous nickname, “Black Mamba.” The reptile’s position as an infinity symbol appears to suggest the two will be together forever in heaven and in the hearts of their surviving loved ones.
So beautiful.
Countless tributes to the Los Angeles Lakers legend, his 13-year-old daughter, and the seven other lives that were lost on January 26 have been spotted across El Lay. As we reported, friends, fans, and family members recently gathered at the Staples Center on Monday for a public memorial service for Kobe and Gigi. Although she did not speak at the event, Washington was in attendance with her parents Pam and Joe Bryant, as well as her sister, Shaya Bryant. Vanessa Bryant showed immeasurable strength and delivered a heartfelt speech on behalf of her family.
R.I.P., Kobe and Gigi.
