Oh dear. No doubt this is going to really overshadow all the good work he has been doing.
Last night, the co-founder of “Kony 2012,” Jason Russell, was arrested by the San Diego police for allegedly being drunk and masturbating in public.
According to the cops, Jason was apprehended when the police received several phone calls from residents complaining about a man in various stages of undress, running through traffic and screaming. When the police arrive, Jason was in his underwear and masturbating, after presumably vandalizing several cars. It was clear to the arresting officers that Jason was “on something,” so he was immediately taken in. Thankfully, Jason was seemingly “cooperative” with the police once they arrived, so he didn’t make matters worse by resisting arrest.
Not good, Jason. Not only does this tarnish your reputation, but think of your two kids! How embarrassed are they going to be that their father went from hero and zero in like, a week! Sad!
Do U think this will hurt his campaign? Or is his work too important to be overshadowed by this?

“Jason Russell was unfortunately hospitalized yesterday suffering from exhaustion, dehydration, and malnutrition. He is now receiving medical care and is focused on getting better. The past two weeks have taken a severe emotional toll on all of us, Jason especially, and that toll manifested itself in an unfortunate incident yesterday. Jason’s passion and his work have done so much to help so many, and we are devastated to see him dealing with this personal health issue. We will always love and support Jason, and we ask that you give his entire family privacy during this difficult time.”
