Kourtney Kardashian's Attachment Parenting Has Her Family Thinking She's Crazy!

Her family is into some pretty weird stuff themselves, but are they judging one of their own for how she parents her kids?
That’s what Kourtney Kardashian thinks! And it may have something to do with her attachment parenting skills!
The reality star explained how she lets her son Mason and daughter Penelope sleep in her and Scott Disick‘s bed, and how she also breastfed Mason until he was 14-months-old!
Here’s what she said:

“It’s what came naturally to me; I didn’t plan it. When I had Mason, I just felt really attached to him and wanted to bring him everywhere. He ended up sleeping with me, and I breastfed for 14 months. They go to sleep in their rooms but end up in my bed, sometimes within minutes. It’s…something we talk about constantly. Mostly there are times each night when the kids are in their own rooms, and sometimes it even lasts all night. Every night is different.”

We wonder if Kourtney or her sisters were like that when they were younger, and it’s a genetic thing? But Kourtney dismissed that theory when she said:

“I mean, I have no idea where it came from because I definitely didn’t sleep with my parents unless I was sick or something. I don’t know, it just kind of grew. I wasn’t reading attachment parenting books before; it’s just what came naturally to me. I think even with different kids, it’s different. Each kid needs something different.”

As for her family – Kourtney is only sure of one thing with them. That they think she’s crazy! she said:

“I’m sure all the family thinks I’m insane for having them in the bed and breastfeeding for a long time, but whatever.”

We totally respect not letting family members shame you out of doing something!
We’re all about sticking to a decision even if others don’t agree with it, like attachment parenting! Parents can call their own shots!
