We can’t believe this happened!
MLB pitcher Kris Benson‘s estranged wife has been arrested! For what? Oh, we don’t know! Maybe it was that she allegedly broke into his house wearing a bulletproof vest, carrying a knife, taser, hatchet, and handgun along with an ammunition belt??
That’s NUTS!
Anna Benson was charged with two counts of aggravated assault and battery with a gun, possession of a firearm in a felony and criminal trespass! Apparently she trapped Kris in his basement!
He called 911 from his down there and in a hushed voice said that his wife threatened him with a gun. Can you imagine how terrifying that would be! Here’s what he said on the line:
“My soon to be ex-wife has gotten into my house ├óΓé¼┬ª She’s brandishing a gun. She’s wearing a bulletproof vest. She’s in the house and I’m downstairs in the basement.”
We’re SO glad the cops got there in time!
When they showed up, the ex allegedly told police she was wearing a bulletproof vest to test it for a company. YEAH RIGHT.
Kris started the divorce process last summer, and a judge has now given him FULL custody, yanked Anna’s visitation rights, and issued a restraining order!
This story is so insane! Where were the kids??
We’re just glad nobody got hurt!
