God, we hope not. The show is in serious trouble if they lose her. No offense to the other ladies, but no one comes close to her caliber and talent. Think of all the characters we’ll lose and the hilarious skits we’ll never see again.
Lorne Michaels, do something – NOW!
It’s being reported that Kristen Wiig may be leaving Saturday Night Live after this season to pursue more of a movie career. She’s done alright for herself juggling both in the last six years, but with the success of Bridesmaids comes the notion that it might be time for her to move on. We’re hearing Jason Sudeikis is also thinking of doing the same, bowing out with this season is over.
Worst. News. Ever. We honestly don’t know how the show will manage without her.
Unless, of course, Melissa McCarthy opts to host every week until they find a suitable replacement. That would be ideal.
