Christmas came early this year!
It looks like Kristin Chenoweth and Idina Menzel might be the gifts that keep on giving by each dropping Christmas albums this winter.
Talk about a Wicked rivalry!
Kristin took to Twitter over the weekend to participate in a Q&A. When one fan suggested the singer release a follow-up to her 2008 holiday album, the Tony Award winner responded with an enthusiastic, “GONNA do IT!!”
On the other hand, Idina, who has already confirmed her holiday album, has been hard at work recording traditional Christmas carols, as well as original pieces to honor her Jewish heritage.
While Kristin’s answer doesn’t 100 percent guarantee an album drop this December, her desire to make one does raise an interesting question:

Whichever way you voted, we do think we can make one solid prediction: Idina’s album is definitely going to have some Frozen treats on the track list!
