Kylie Jenner is finding herself at the center of a social media firestorm after teaming up with Meta to promote the company’s new AI-powered smart glasses, and the reaction online has been anything but glowing. While the collaboration was clearly meant to generate excitement around the latest wearable tech, plenty of critics have instead turned the conversation into a heated debate about privacy, surveillance, and whether this kind of technology should even exist. Welp!

Ya see, Kylie recently appeared in promotional content for Meta’s new Starfire Kylie Edition AI glasses.
The limited-edition glasses start at $399 and include features like Meta AI with Kylie’s voice, an ultra-HD camera, and hands-free controls that allow wearers to capture photos and videos directly from the glasses.

Sounds futuristic, right? Well, not everyone is impressed!
Almost immediately after the campaign launched, social media users flooded the comments all across social media with MAJOR criticisms.
Rather than focusing on the design or technology, many people zeroed in on the built-in camera, arguing that devices capable of recording discreetly raise serious concerns about consent and personal privacy — oh, and they RIPPED Kylie to shreds for going so far as to take part in a partnership over the technology!
