For Kylie Jenner, it’s just another normal day when she debuts a new ‘do.
And unlike her sisters, there aren’t many colors or hairstyles the 18-year-old hasn’t tried out by now!
In her latest blog post though, she admits she only dyed her hair for the first time at 16├óΓé¼┬ª without Kris Jenner‘s permission!

We’re more surprised it was that recent than the fact mama KJ didn’t even know.
Anyway, Kylie continued, confessing:
“After that, I’ve just had this addiction to changing my hair. It makes me feel like a new person. I love feeling different and I love leaving the house knowing that nobody has ever seen me this way. It’s hard for me to go back to different styles I’ve worn before; I don’t always like my normal short, black hair. That look makes me feel like I’m going back in time. It’s like I’m going back to that moment a year ago and I just don’t want be in that space.”
She’s currently rocking that look now, so we imagine it’s not long before she switches up her tresses again! Though as you might have noticed, King Kylie is focusing less on dying than her hair than coming up with fun new wigs. Especially because of all the damage her tresses were taking!
Could that be what inspired her line of colored extensions?? She admitted:
“I’ve had to find ways to really try and take care of it and give it a rest. I discovered this amazing wig guy, Tokyo, and together we create wigs. Wigs are just SO much easier because I change my mind so much and this way I’m not damaging my hair├óΓé¼┬ª Constantly changing up my style makes me feel creative and it helps me with my confidence. If any of you are going through something in your life and you want a change, experiment with your hair├óΓé¼ΓÇ¥it’s so much fun and you’ll feel totally liberated. It just makes me feel so good about myself. In the end, always own your own style and your own judgment and people will support you.”
Maybe test that out with some temporary dye before really taking the plunge, just in case you’re not totally in love with it!
