After singlehandedly killing off Snapchat with one fell swoop, the KUWTK star and beauty biz billionaire is at it again, this time bringing red-hot app TikTok to new heights while also lining up a new source of income for herself! And honestly, at this point, we’re not even mad about it any more… just amazed!

According to TMZ, the makeup mogul has already filed legal docs requesting the trademark of her iconic “Rise and Shine” wakeup call to daughter Stormi Webster. It’s not a huge surprise, of course, considering she’s already been selling merch with the now-infamous phrase all over it, though apparently her early sweatshirt line has already sold out. Amazing.
The trademark — if granted — would allow cover for the phrase to be produced on “belts, pants, coats, dresses, footwear, gloves, headbands, headwear, jackets, loungewear, scarves, sleepwear, socks, swimwear and undergarments … as well as cosmetics.”
So in other words… she wants your money, she’s gonna sell you some over-priced merch to get your money, and there’s not a freakin’ thing any of us can do about it! LOLz!!
Trend Setter? Nah, Record Setter…
We may soon look back at “Rise and Shine” as the jumping-off point for when TikTok really blew up in to the American consciousness, but Kylie is already more than a trend setter for the platform — she’s legitimately a record setter, too!
According to The Mirror, #RiseAndShine is officially the fastest growing hashtag in the app’s history! It raked in more than four million views on the day the reality TV star posted her infamous clip, with another 70 million added on day two. And now, by the end of the weekend, the hashtag has officially eclipsed one BILLION views on the platform — truly a new viral sensation, and an all-time record.
