After battling breast cancer herself, Kylie Minogue put in a lot of hard work promoting the awareness and research of the disease.
Anglia Ruskin University recognized her dedication, and they awarded her with an honorary Doctorate of Health Sciences.
Grateful and smiling, Kylie told the graduating class of 220:
I never went to university so my dad will be very proud when he sees the pictures. I am here partly for the work I do promoting breast cancer awareness. When you are diagnosed yourself it becomes a lot more real and you appreciate at first hand the hard work that goes on to support patients through it.
Yeaaahhhhh giiiiiirl! Get that degree! We’re so proud of you!
