There still may be hope for Lady GaGa and Taylor Kinney‘s relationship!
After the news broke of the Applause singer’s split from the Chicago Fire actor, the blonde beauty took to Instagram to open up about the ACTUAL status of her relationship with her former flame. Well, well!

Huh. So, GaGa and Taylor are “taking a break”…. how very Ross and Rachel of them.
As we previously reported, the twosome were said to have called it quits because their demanding work schedules kept them apart, and Miz GaGa’s new statement seems to confirm these reports. One source dished to Us Weekly:
“She started really writing and working on her album and he went back to work in Chicago. They kept going weeks without seeing each other.”
So sad! However, the insider did suggest that the duo “absolutely could get back together”. Phew.
We mean, we really doubt this is the end for the New York native and her beau. In case you forgot, the Poker Face artist and The Vampire Diaries alum first met while filming GaGa’s music video You And I back in 2011. While they split briefly in 2012, they’ve been quite the powerhouse couple these past few years. Taylor even proposed to the 30-year-old with a HUGE engagement ring on Valentine’s Day last year.
Here’s hoping they’ll reconcile before the end of the year. Fingers crossed!
