How curious!
Lady GaGa‘s youtube account had be down for a while to the confusion of many. Had it run into legal issues some how? Was there a content dispute? Nobody was quite sure.
We’re glad to say that the account is now restored, but with one video missing upon closer inspection — a video called SMAP x SMAP:
The clip has been deleted from the page, but there is no statement regarding the missing of the video. Previous rumor suggested GaGa’s camp failed to secure the digital rights to the clip. Thus, it needed to be removed to avoid “multiple or severe violations of YouTube’sCopyright Policy.”
The footage featured GaGa doing a medley of such songs as “Born This Way”, “The Edge of Glory” and “You and I”. A day before it was posted on YouTube, she excitedly tweeted, “My performance+cooking show appearance on SMAP SMAP is airing now in Japan. Kawaii Monsters!”
Glad it was all sorted out!
