Lamar Odom's Aunt Thanks Fans For Their Support & Asks For 'Prayers'

Lamar Odom‘s family is not ready to give up on him!
On Friday, the NBA star’s maternal aunt JaNean Mercer thanked Lammy’s many fans for the outpouring of support they’ve received as he remains in critical condition after being found unresponsive in a brothel earlier this week.

In a recent statement, she shared:

“No words can express the overwhelming gratitude we feel for the outpouring of support from around the world. Please continue to keep in your prayers, our family and Lamar, whom we deeply love, admire and cherish. His complete healing is paramount and our primary focus. Please respect our privacy as we continue to lean on GOD and trust in Him during this extremely difficult time.”

What a beautiful display of familial love.
Unfortunately, L.O.’s condition still remains the same with no confirmed news of improvement. It’s said that the doctors have warned the American athlete’s family that if his coma persists he will have to be transferred to another hospital that focuses on special rehabilitative care. Yikes.
In fact, it’s reported that the longer the former LA Lakers player remains unconscious and dependent on the ventilator, the less likely it will be that he’ll regain normal brain activity. How sad.
One source revealed:

“He hasn’t suffered any more strokes. But he’s not getting better and that has everyone worried.”

Tragic.
Nonetheless, the reality TV star’s currently surrounded by his loved ones, including his estranged wife Khloe Kardashian. Since their divorce paperwork was never processed, the couple are still officially married and the KUWTK starlet is faced with making medical decisions on Lamar’s behalf.
Whoa.
