Lamar Odom will always be known as an amazing basketball player.
While the former reality TV star is currently fighting for his life in a Las Vegas hospital, several NBA athletes are speaking out about the 35-year-old’s condition.
On Thursday, childhood friend Metta World Peace gave his two cents regarding his former teammate.

He said :
“Hopefully he gets well , hopefully he pulls out of this thing, and get the support that he really needs├óΓé¼┬ª And that’s pretty much all I really have to say.”
The professional formerly known as Ron Artest even posted the following throwback pic on his Instagram:

Iggy Azalea‘s fianc├â┬⌐ Nick Young also chimed in.
He said:
“Just a sad thing to see what happens to good people.”
Although Young never played with Odom, the former Khloe & Lamar personality still has a lasting impact on The Lakers.
When asked if Odom’s coma has affected the team, he replied:
“Yeah, it’s tough. Especially being here with the Lakers, I know how they shared moments with him and been through battles…The atmosphere is pretty down. It’s sad, you know, but still we asked for everybody to pray for him and we’re going to keep on.”
We are hopeful Lamar will make a quick recovery.
