As you probably saw, Lamar Odom shared some happy news with his fans and followers on Monday night — he’s getting married to girlfriend Sabrina Parr!
Unfortunately that Instagram post was also apparently the way he informed his own son. Oof.

To Lamar Morales Odom, son of Lamar and Liza Morales, this sweet IG post:
…was more like a slap in the face.
He wrote in a since-deleted comment on his poppa’s post:
“Not a text or a phone call to see how people who’ve know this dude his whole life to see how we would feel or react.”
Ouch.
But it wasn’t just about finding out in such a thoughtless way either. The way Lamar the Younger puts it, other people in Lamar’s life “don’t approve” of Miz Parr!
“Knew shawty for 4 months and already got you twisted. Family n friends already don’t approve of homegirl but already she got your ass inna sunken place.”
Oh damn! Does this look like the face of a man in the sunken place to you??
Lil’ Lamar finished by saying:
“Shame family gotta find out on social media but that’s been how life been all the time as the son of an Odom”
Well, he was obviously very upset at seeing the post.
If you think it’s too harsh, you aren’t alone — the 17-year-old would clearly agree with you as he deleted his comment and instead posted on his own Instagram feed the next day:
“Last night I was emotional seeing my father got engaged through social media. I was hurt and caught off guard. At the end of the day, I am a teenager, that is becoming a young man. I have to be responsible for what I post, I have nothing but love for my dad and want what’s best for him.”
He even paired it with this sweet throwback pic!
Well, that was a quick turnaround!
You think he thought differently after having some time to cool off? Or did he finally get that phone call from Dad after all?
And what about that tea about the family not liking Sabrina?? Sometimes when we’re angry we say things we don’t mean… and sometimes it’s the only time the brutal truth comes out.
