Oh no! This fills us with some serious Summertime Sadness!!
The sexy songstress Lana Del Rey has apparently been a bit under the weather lately and was forced to cancel her upcoming concert in St. Petersburg due to a throat infection!
A statement on her website says:
“Lana Del Rey regrets to inform her fans in St. Petersburg that she has a throat infection and the doctors have advised her to take 48 hours rest on medication, in order to fully recover. It is therefore necessary to postpone tonight’s concert and the management and promoter are working on rescheduling the date to Wednesday, June 19th.”
Yikes!
It’s always a little scary when a singer’s throat comes into play, but luckily it sounds like Lana will only have to take a couple of days and should be able to hit the road again after a little bit of rest and relaxation.
That’s DEFINITELY good news, because we don’t know what we’d do if her precious vocal chords were ruined!
