Oh boy!
Dion Leung Wai-yin is not a happy customer. Not at all!
The 32 year old woman claims she was locked inside a VIP room at Lane Crawford for 90 minutes while they authenticated a vintage Chanel bag she bought from them and now she wants to be compensated!
Dion says of the terrifying ordeal:
“I was locked in a VIP room, [an employee] served me hot chocolate and he started to chit-chat with me. When I asked him when were we going to discuss the bag, he tried to [talk] about his divorce, the size of his feet and where he came from.”
The fashionista is seeking 50,000 Hong Kong dollars or $6,441 USD plus two Chanel bags for “depression” and “anxiety”, but so far she’s only received an apology.
Lane Crawford released a statement acknowledging the situation and insisted their staff worked as quickly as possible to alleviate the problem. They also claim they issued her a full refund for the damaged bag.
