They pulled in quite the replacement at such short notice!
On the heels of Larry King‘s announcement that he is retiring in the fall, CNN is negotiating a $10 million deal with America’s Got Talent judge Piers Morgan to take over for the talk show host!
And he apparently beat out Katie Couric and Ryan Seacrest for the job!
According to a source:
├óΓé¼┼ôCNN has made it clear to Piers that he is the network├óΓé¼Γäós first choice to replace Larry. He is very, very close to agreeing to terms. America’s Got Talent finishes in mid-September. That is perfect timing to coincide with Larry├óΓé¼Γäós retirement and allow Piers to take over.├óΓé¼┬¥
We’re curious to see how the show will do with Morgan!
