We’ve all heard the news of Larry King leaving his 25-year run on NBC this fall and Piers Morgan is slated to be his replacement.
In an interview with Forbes.com, King revealed that he’s not too familiar with Morgan even though he’s had him on his show a few times.
King says:
Most Americans wouldn’t [know Morgan] unless you watch ‘America’s Got Talent.’ And if you watch that, you only know him as a judge. You don’t know him as a host…other than being a guest on my show, I’ve never watched ‘America’s Got Talent’ and I don’t know if I’d recognize him if he was walking down the street.
We don’t completely disagree with King on this one, Piers Morgan isn’t the most familiar face on TV.
