Looks like we haven’t seen the last of The Last of Us!
In fact, there’s going to be a movie and it will be directed by none other than Sam Raimi! This was just made official at Comic-Con!
But by the old gods and the new, this news keeps getting better!
Sam and the writer attached to the project, Neil Druckmann, also mentioned that they’ve talked to Game of Thrones‘ Arya Stark herself, Maisie Williams, to star as the 14-year old protagonist, Ellie.
In fact, she’s apparently very excited about the prospect of becoming Ellie, and would have been at today’s panel had she not been so heavily involved in a GoT EW cover photoshoot!
All in all, we’re loving all the news coming from Comic-Con! Maisie is AH-Mazing in everything she does!
