The network has hired Laura Ling, who was famously detained in North Korea last year while working as a Current TV corespondent, as the host for the hour-long series E! Investigates.
The show will explore more serious topics relating to pop culture, such as teen suicide and the lives of military wives.
Laura told sources she was “thrilled” to be able to works “a little bit closer to home” and get the chance to reach a younger audience.
