F**k reality TV, get money!
That’s pretty much Lauren Conrad‘s reasoning for why she’s not going to be part of the reboot for The Hills that’s coming quickly on MTV.

As we’ve been reporting about Conrad, the fashion mogul will not be part of the nostalgic reboot — but at least now, we’re starting to better understand why she’s ditching her childhood friends and early cast mates.
Sources close to LC revealed to TMZ that it has nothing to do with her being “in a different place” in her life, as was the reason given initially a few days ago.
Rather, she’s just making too much damn money doing what she’s doing now to be bothered with a reality TV reboot.
Sources claim that because of her multiple revenue streams — clothing lines, stores, fashion accessories — her business portfolio is jam packed and plenty busy already… not to mention plenty stronger than all of her former co-stars.
Suffice to say she’s got more going on than Justin Bobby does! LOLz!!

To that end, coming back on The Hills never really interested her, and so she turned ’em down.
Maybe we’ll see a quick cameo sometime or something down the road, but, uh, don’t count on it…
Hey, it happens — Sammi ‘Sweetheart’ opted to skip the Jersey Shore reboot, and now LC is missing out on The Hills.
