On Wednesday, Orange Is the New Black‘s Lea DeLaria revealed she and her partner, fashion editor Chelsea Fairless, had amicably called off their engagement after four years together. Boo!
But not to fear, Perezcious readers, as the 58-year-old took to Instagram with the same photo the couple used to announce their decision to get hitched from February 2015… but this time with a hilarious twist!

As you may remember, the said photo depicted the couple’s faces Photoshopped into a pic from Liza Minnelli‘s 2002 nuptials to producer David Gest.

Apparently this was an eerily prophetic choice of engagement photo as our relationship has since gone the way of David and Liza, with one small exception: our split is amicable. Please exclude us from the tragic and basic celebrity breakup narrative. We were happy together for four years and will remain in each other’s lives. In fact, we look forward to finding new ways to torture each other.
