Scientologists Are Forced To LICK Bathrooms Clean As Punishment?! WTF?!

Leah Remini
Leah Remini
has been dropping a sh*t ton of shocking details in her docuseries Scientology and the Aftermath — and this Q&A installment, co-hosted by fellow former member and Church executive Mike Rinder, is no different.
In Tuesday’s episode called Ask Me Anything, Part 2, the 46-year-old actress answered a series of fan-submitted questions on social media alongside special guests: Going Clear author Lawrence Wright, lawyer Ray Jeffrey, and cult behavior and deprogramming expert Steve Hassan.
At one point, the panel turned to former Scientology exec Debbie Cook, who claimed she had to commit acts like LICKING THE BATHROOM floor while serving time in “the hole” after she allegedly violated a non-disclosure agreement. OMG!

Cook was sued by the church and transported to a double-trailer complex for allegedly sending out classified information via a group email. The lawsuit was later settled in 2012.
Also in the episode, Miz Remini opened up about her exchange with her The King Of Queens costar Kevin James about the religion.
At the time, Leah said the devout Catholic actor wanted nothing to do with Scientology:

“He even said to me once, ‘Don’t try to get me in your Tom Cruise glare.’ Kevin was very faithful to his religion.”

Fair!
Rinder chimed in at one point to retell a story of a time when he tried to convince John Travolta to turn down his role in Quentin Tarantino‘s Pulp Fiction — a film, as you probably know, that revamped the Grease star’s career.
Rinder joked:

“What great career advice. I should be an agent. Sensibly, he ignored me.”

A few other not-so-fun tidbits from the episode:
— Celebrities are the religion’s MVPs… similar to athletes on Wheaties boxes.
— Leah remembered being SHUNNED after doing a bikini photo shoot with Stuff magazine.
— It’s said the church has always failed to reach people of color — and even when they set up shop in neighborhoods like Inglewood and Harlem, Rinder suggested locals never went.

At this point, we’re not sure what Leah can tell us that would be surprising!
But the New York native admitted she’s not quite done telling her story:

“I just don’t know that we’re done. You’ll probably see us soon. [We] can’t let anything go.”
