Leah Remini On Her Controversial New Scientology Docuseries: 'There Is A Lot More To This Story Than Anyone Knows'

They blinded her with Scientology!
Leah Remini risked her entire career when she decided to leave the Church of Scientology more than three years ago, but she managed to make it to the other side relatively unscathed.
Sure, her TLC reality show It’s All Relative only lasted two seasons despite her book Troublemaker being a best-seller… but her second dip into the docuseries pond is guaranteed to make a splash!

That’s because in addition to publicly disavowing the controversial religious organization, the King of Queens actress’ new series Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath promises to “shed light” on Scientology more than ever before!
In fact, in a statement through her network A&E on Thursday, Leah admitted that being an executive producer on the project actually taught her a few things, saying:

“For too long, this multi-billion-dollar organization bullied victims and journalists to prevent the truth being told. It is my hope that we shed light on information that makes the world aware of what is really going on and encourages others to speak up. Even though I had been a member of the church for a long time, I was stunned by some of the things I learned. There is a lot more to this story than anyone knows, and this series is breaking ground in bringing that information to light.”

While Leah’s whole truth may never be told in full… this definitely seems like a start.
But to be honest, we just can’t wait to see which other celebrity defectors Leah gets for the show!
Will U be watching when Leah Remini: Scientology and the Aftermath premieres Tuesday, November 29 at 10 p.m. EST on A&E??
