So sad.
Legendary director John Hughes has passed away at the young age of 59.
Hughes suffered a heart attack during a morning walk while visiting his family in NYC on Thursday.
Hughes was responsible for writing and directing some of the most iconic movies of the ’80s, such as The Breakfast Club, Pretty in Pink, Sixteen Candles and Ferris Bueller’s Day Off.
He will be greatly missed.
