25-year-old Leila Lopes, from the South African country Angola, beat out 88 competitors last night and was crowned Miss Universe of 2011, making her the nation’s first winner!
She said during the 60th edition of the pageant:
“I’m very satisfied with the way God created me and I wouldn’t change a thing. I consider myself a woman endowed with inner beauty. I have acquired many wonderful principles from my family and I intend to follow these.”
Aw! Just lovely!
