Lena Dunham is overwhelmed with emotion right now!
Late Thursday night, Lena took to Instagram to pay tribute to the end of Girls. The actress’ series of LONG posts comes on the heels of costar Allison Williams‘ bittersweet goodbyes to the show.

In the bazillion messages, Ms. Dunham credits Girls as the “most potent chapter” of her life thus far while also praising the show’s team. It’s clear the comedienne has nothing but love for the series’ writers, producers, and actors!

What an intense moment for the writer! Considering the show launched her into the spotlight, we can’t blame her for feeling so heartbroken!

While this obviously a hard time for Lena, we have no doubt she’ll be okay. With Lenny Letter and other exciting projects in the works, she has plenty of things to look forward to.
