Just one month after his return to The Tonight Show, Jay Leno is beating late-night rival David Letterman in the ratings!
“I’m surprised,” said Horizon Media’s Brad Adgate. “(82%) of his audience is back from a year ago. ├óΓé¼┬ª Despite all the bruises he got, Leno is still a very resilient host.”
Although not everyone is watching those two duke it out!
Younger viewers have ditched the mainstream options for shows on Comedy Central and Adult Swim, so it’s just the old people who love Leno.
Both hosts are down total viewers from last year. Leno is down 24%, while Letterman has declined 9%.
Makes us wonder about the future of late night!
